Dr. Scott Gallian
I’m originally from Marion, VA. I am a proud veteran of the United States Air Force and earned my medical degree from Louisiana State University in Shreveport. I am Board Certified in Internal Medicine. I have nearly ten years experience in both inpatient and outpatient medical care. I primarily focus in treating hypertension, diabetes, and preventative health. We look forward to serving you and your family.
I’m originally from Birmingham Alabama, and I graduated with my B.S.N. from the University of Alabama at Birmingham. After working several years as an R.N. in Intensive Care Units I graduated Summa Cum Laude from Vanderbilt University with my M.S.N. as a family Nurse Practitioner. I was a member of Sigma Theata Tau Honor Society. I enjoy spending time with my family, traveling, visiting the beach and equestrian sports.
I’m a Certified Medical Assistant and Limited Medical Xray Technician for Gallian Medical Group. I am board certified, and a member of the American Medical Technologists. I began my career in healthcare by working at Parkwest Medical Center as a Certified Nursing Assistant. Since that time, I have 22 years of experience and education in various areas of patient care (phlebotomy, medical assistant, xray). My goal and responsibility is to take care of patients and help them feel at ease. I will continue to strive to make each visit to the doctor’s office a positive and good experience for each patient. When not working, I enjoy camping, swimming, going to church, and spending time with my family.
I’m the receptionist and client services specialist for Gallian Medical Group. I have worked in the medical field for fifteen years, and have various experience, including billing and management. My goal is to help patients have a comfortable and stress free environment at their physicians office. I am married and have one son who is eleven years old. In my spare time I’m gardening and on a baseball field, or a football field watching my son play.
I’m one of the clinical staff employees at Gallian Medical Group. I obtained my Phlebotomy and Clinical Medical Assistant Certification at Science Hill Technology Center in Johnson City, TN. I acquired my Limited Medical X-Ray Certification in 2004. My goal while working for Gallian Medical Group is to create a friendly and helpful environment for our patients. I am here to listen to, and communicate with our patients about their needs and concerns. In my spare time I enjoy being on the river fishing and sitting around a campfire roasting hot dogs.
